Currentzis Lab: an open rehearsal of the musicAeterna Orchestra

Teodor Currentzis will conduct an open rehearsal with the musicAeterna Orchestra for the Diaghilev+ Festival symphony programme. The Currentzis Lab format involves not only working with the orchestra, but also succinct comments on compositions performed for a wide audience. The concerts to be performed in the Great Hall of the Perm Philharmonic on 26 and 27 December 2024 will feature music by two impressionist composers: Suite No. 2 from the ballet Daphnis and Chloe and The Waltz, a choreographic poem for orchestra, by Maurice Ravel, as well as the symphonic poem The Pines of Rome by Ottorino Respighi.
